Isaiah 54:11

O thou afflicted, tossed with tempest, and not comforted, behold, I will lay thy stones with fair colours, and lay thy foundations with sapphires.

If you’ve ever been afflicted, then you know the true meaning of humility, when you are dependent on someone or something to give you help when the storms of life are raging and no answer comes.

God has a perfect plan for your life, and instead of bleakness and drab, The Lord will bring color to your steps and your many foundations will be laid with sapphires.

Isaiah 54:17

No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.

that is – Not formed yet, untested, untried weaponry
