Ezekiel 33:7
So thou, O son of man, I have set thee a watchman unto the house of Israel; therefore thou shalt hear the word at my mouth, and warn them from me.
Fifteen years ago, to the day, I awoke at 3:30 AM and this was my mindset for that 48th birthday… “If this is my day, I’m giving it to The Lord.”
I was on the backside of the desert in Hazard, KY in a small apartment over Faulkner’s garage. As I lay prostrate before The Lord on the carpeted floor, I began to see a vision of a city scene. There were tall buildings lit up different colors and in the middle of them was a stage. On the stage there were singers and dancers and musicians. In front of the stage was a prayer team of about 50 members, preparing to move through an enormous crowd, sharing the word of The Lord.
I asked The Lord, “What is this?” He said, “This is my Marvellous Light, and this is what I have for you to do.” I was amazed. I cried and thanked The Lord for His mercy toward me and asked Him to show me in His word what I had seen.
For the next several hours, He took me on a journey of the last days, through Ezekiel 33-39.
I was puzzled by the vision. I could not see how it could come to pass, but that was then.
A time and half a time later, (1 1/2 years) in October of 2004, with the hand of God, and the help of Dr. Fred Martin and His Servants Ministries, a medical missions team that ministered around the world, the vision came to life.
God had laid it on Dr. Martin’s heart to do an evangelistic thrust into Thailand, the doorway to the far east.
I had formed the Marvellous Light Orchestra, a seven member team. There was Brad on bass, Tommy on drums, James, on rhythm, J. C. on lead, Bill on violin, (he was the orchestra) I played keys, and the Holy Spirit… that’s seven.
We left the United States with a twenty three man team headed for Bangkok.
We had a prayer team with interpreters that worked it’s way through a crowd of over 20,000 people at the World Trade Center Plaza in Bangkok, Thailand. The stage, set up by my friend, Manop Moonsri, was lit, the buildings behind it were lit up multi-colored, and there were singers and dancers from all across the country, and the Marvellous Light Orchestra.
I’m not sure how many were saved that night, but the move of God that was released under an open heaven is still going on today, and the Christian population there keeps on doubling in size. The head Buddhist monk in Thailand came out in the Bangkok newspaper that next morning and said, “If this is how Christians are going to use the media, we have no hope… our next generation will be Christian.”
Fifteen years have passed and The Lord is still speaking, still leading, and on this, my 63rd birthday, we are beginning a new phase of WAR REVIVAL, Miracles In The Mist.
I am so excited to see what The Lord has in store for this, a new generation, that will rise up and answer the call.
Hallelujah! Amen.
