Isaiah 37:35

For I will defend this city to save it for mine own sake, and for my servant David’s sake.

      The battle is not ours, it’s The Lords.’ We can get too territorial, just like an old junk yard dog, snappin’ and growling at every wisp of perceived indiscretion.

This is the city of The Great King, and He is well able to defend, control, and accomplish that which brings him glory.

Father help us to understand just exactly what you have called us to do, and relinquish ownership to You our King.
