Matthew 25:30

And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

How awful it must have been, and will be, for his sons. They were young, 9 or 10 years old when their dad was sentenced to twenty years behind bars, separated from their dad during the times when they would have the greatest need for a father.

But God had provided for them with a grandfather who loved them, and a grandmother that would look after them, and in time, their sorrow would fade away. They would learn to live with the separation.

There is life on the other side for the children of God, but once a soul has been cast into outer darkness it can never return, never… separated for eternity. The weeping of that soul will never cease, forever apart from the love of The Father, and the life of joy that could have been.

Turn. Turn. Turn. Choose this day whom ye will serve. As for me and my house, we will serve The Lord.

Father, thank you for being there.

Hallelujah! Amen.
