Hebrews 4:14

Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.

We are professionals. We profess to know Christ. We hold our profession in high regard. There is no more noble cause, There is nothing higher than the things of God.

That is why God sware to Abraham by Himself. There was nothing greater for Him to swear by, and this is the promise that He made, saying, Blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply thee.

Jesus has entered his rest higher than the heavens. There is also a rest for the people of God. It is not now. Now, we work while it is day.

We have a work to do, and as professionals we have knowledge, a knowing of the truth and the things of God.

We honor you, O God, and highly esteem you above all else, and we are willing to work, for we know what lies ahead… a rest.

So… Lights On!
